SECRET WEAPON to WIN KARAOKE CONTEST

This ninji killer super secret contest winning Karaoke singing success miracle not only brings home a zillion dollars in FIVE minutes, but slices and dices your salad while you're on stage!

Of course that's a bunch of B.S. Nothing will do all of that. But, there are some great things you can do to improve your singing success and possibly win a karaoke contest.

I'll present several strategies: 1) Build on success - where did you learn to swim? Where do you swim now? Well, most of us started in a baby pool and gradually worked our way up to the kiddie pool, the shallow end, then the deep end and now oceans, lakes, rivers, etc. So, the trick here is two fold - build confidence and build and audience (which is a reflection of your confidence in a way, cause the same audience may not be there - that's too deep a subject to get into in a short online article - let's stay up all night and talk some time! ;) Probbly enough said. Except in one point that segues well... Win in your home - or PRACTICE performance and PRACTICE WINNING! Visualize winning, see the crowd, hear the applause, smell the popcorn or coffee or whatever...

2) Get solid training - most people think those that win a karaoke contest are naturally successful at singing and just plopped up there free as can be and "did it". Hooey! Most of those people are highly trained musicians who take private voice lessons, perhaps even teach private singing lessons and at minimum have mastered a singing course or two. To win a karaoke contest, you must practice and have expert guidance. If you can't afford a really good voice teacher, get a solid voice training program like SINGING SUCCESS. If you already have a vocal instructor, I also recommend using Singing Success (crazy, right? No very serious - first, your teacher is probably great at what they're doing, but most don't have a solid, well prepared program that they personal spent thousands of hours refining. A practice and training program that helps with a zillion tiny and big issues. Sure, they may "know" most of that stuff, but it may take years to learn it from them. If you're already paying for private lessons, I guarantee for the price of Singing Success you'll get more than your money's worth - ie, as far as progress goes, you'll see the equivalent of 6 months or more of private lessons by doing the singing success program... and, I write this from first hand experience).

Okay, if you can't afford a $200 program, there are cheaper programs, like Singorama. I don't like it nearly as well as Singing success, but it's only $50 or so and it will get you going.

And, if you have no money... well, I'll ask - how serious are you to win the contest? Most people who want to win karaoke contests are going to do some investing of financial resources, but mostly a lot of time! And, I understand that some people are simply broke and karaoke is an outlet to forget about debt... good enough. Here are some ideas for folks in that camp. Go to the library and get some meditation programs and books related to visualization and manifestation. While you're there, check out singing training programs. If your library doesn't have any, try networking to a sister library. Karaoke is BIG and karaoke contests are growing, so you might even find a book on that subject. Learn everything you can about karaoke and look up karaoke performance techniques. You could also search for "free singing lessons" or "free voice lesson" and see what you find. Some of the links that come up have some interesting articles about singing (but, what you really need are audio programs to sing along with).

Can't believe how far I rambled on. Hope I didn't bore you. Hope some of this was/is useful. Hope you win a karaoke contest! 

Whatever you do, please have fun and enjoy the music!
